On Saturday, September 14 from noon until 2 p.m., Friends of Clermont is hosting Tea at Clermont Gardens to raise funds for the ongoing restoration of Clermont State Historic Site's formal gardens. Tickets are $75/person for non-members and $60/person for Friends of Clermont members. Children 12 and under are free. Tickets are 100% tax-deductible and must be purchased in advance.
The event features: a teatime buffet by Rob Handel Catering, music performed by harpist Sarah Goss, an online auction, a special talk by Germantown Historian Thomas Shannon, and internationally-recognized local artist Ruby Silvious who will have her book and tea bag art available for purchase.
