Al and Willie, as “Lewis and Clark” were top-billed vaudevillians for over forty years... now they aren’t even speaking. When CBS requests them for a “History of Comedy” retrospective, the grudging reunion brings the two back together, along with a flood of memories, miseries, and laughs.
Beck Center 24-25 Professional Theater Season is kicked off by this funny and touching story written by Neil Simon. Direction by William Roudebush and starring Austin Pendleton. Produced with special arrangement with Concord Theatricals.
"It's ham on wry [...] Simon's sure-footed craftsmanship and his one liners are as exquisitely apt as ever." - New York Post
"Delicious and oddly affecting." –The New York Times.
Performances run from September 13 - October 6 at the Senney Theater. Thursday performances available on September 26 and October 3. Curtain times are 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and 2:30 p.m. on Sundays.
