On June 22 and 23 eight private gardens in the Historic Northern Neighborhoods of Lebanon, Ohio will swing wide their garden gates. A walking or driving tour is self-guided from 11 am to 5 pm each day showcasing water features, herb, Hosta and pollinator gardens, a community garden, shade/sun gardens and unique sculptures and artworks. These gardens are nestled among century old Folk Victorian, Queen Anne, Colonial, and Greek Rival style homes. Gardeners are available to answer questions and provide gardening tips. A Scavenger Hunt challenges tour goers to find a specific item in the gardens and those who complete it have a chance to win a gift card tree. A Lavender Festival at nearby CC's Blooms Organic Flower Farm will be held from noon to 5 pm during the tour. All proceeds are used to beautify Lebanon and maintain the Train Station Depot. The maps and tickets are purchased the days of the tour at 198 S. Broadway, Lebanon, OH at the Lebanon Train Station for $20.00. Children 12 and under are free.
