Come one, come all, to meet the spirits haunting the Oswego Heritage House!
Find yourself face to face with some colorful figures from Oswego's past: an artist who died tragically in the Oswego canal, a graverobbing gang who stole the body of one of Portland's most prominent, and more!
Discover Oswego as it was more than 100 years ago...
A Haunting History will feature fear-filled activities to discover the culture of death in the early 20th century, refreshments of the most spooky order, a one-day only mini exhibit on death and dying in early Oswego, and ghostly encounters with the most haunted stories from our archives. Guests will hear about tragic tales, get a behind the scenes look at artifacts with spooky histories, and connect with history in an interactive, fun way!
