Portland's Own Nutcracker

Portland's Own Nutcracker is Abernethy Performing Arts' holiday celebration of the beloved ballet "The Nutcracker". Our version celebrates all the classical story but with a historical Portland twist. The Stahlbaum family has come over to the United States from Germany to celebrate Christmas with Henry and Georgianna Pittock in the Pittock mansion. In our story, this is the year that the Oaks Park carousel is opening and all the local children, as well as Clara and Fritz, are so excited to ride the carousel! This version of the Nutcracker is sure to excite and entertain the whole family!
