Please join us for a presentation on finding and photographing wildlife followed by a informative walk on the Echo Lake Nature Trail.
The presentation will be given by Charlie Fineran, long-time parks volunteer and nature photographer, covering his experiences and suggestions when walking, hiking or driving through the area enjoying the wildlife.
This will be followed by taking a walk on the Echo Lake Nature Trail which is next to the Community Center. The walk will be led by Stephanie Sherman, the Environmental Education Specialist at Tobyhanna State Park, who will give us all pointers on what to look for and recognize anytime we are taking a walk in our beautiful area.
Everyone is welcome, and particularly the children of all ages, 5 or 105!!!
Join us for wonderful, informative and interactive time as we explore and learn about the wildlife that is all around us .
Members and under 18 are free
Non-members are welcome for a suggested donation of $5 each.
Please pre-register for the event to save time when arriving and to let us know how many people to expect. Registration is free! Visit our event website, https://friendsofdewanps.org/events, or send an email to info@friendsofdewanps.org.
