Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg will be the Master of Ceremonies. Catherine Anspon, Author and Executive Editor of Visual Arts + Features at PaperCity Magazine; the Honorable Justice Margaret “Meg” Poissant of the 14th Court of Appeals and gallery owner; Jacky Fischer, CEO and owner of 3-Men Movers, a Houston Business Journal top female business owner and winner of the national Enterprising Woman of the Year Award; and the Honorable Natalia Cornelia of the 351st Harris County District Court will be the Art Jurors and be in attendance for the opening. The artists will utilize the theme to create visual works of art-paintings, sculptures, video, and performance art. Each artist can enter up to three pieces. Art Jurors will choose 1st, 2nd and 3rd place with prizes of $500, $250, and $100 respectively. There is no fee to enter.
