Everyone would like to be happy all the time, but our negative states of mind frequently interfere with our inner peace.  We all have habits we consider ‘bad’, unhealthy, even destructive. We don’t want to follow them, but we follow them anyway, as if we are trapped.  How do we identify and overcome states of mind such as anger or unwanted compulsive habits?

Buddha’s astounding insights into the mind give us the tools to understand how and why we engage in compulsive patterns of behavior and consequently how we can let go of them and create the meaningful and joyful life that we actually want. During this series of classes derived from the ancient wisdom of Buddhism, learn to recognize and find inner freedom from some of your most common negative states of mind.  Everyone is welcome.

This class is being held weekly Monday, Aug 1 - Monday, Aug 29

Available online and in person

Free parking is available in the lot behind the Center and on the surrounding neighborhood streets.

We are a non-profit organization. We have class fees to cover expenses such as rent for a commercial space. The payments for each class allow us to fulfill our mission. Still, we try to keep these fees to a minimum to allow everyone to participate and never turn anyone away if they cannot afford it.
