Meditation isn’t just about posture and technique. We need to be able to focus our mind on something. This is called “the object of meditation.” In this series, we will look at some of the most meaningful meditations that Buddha taught. Even if you have never meditated before, you can learn how to apply these meditations in your daily life in a very quick and powerful way.

Every class includes meditations, teachings, and the opportunity to ask questions.

Everyone welcome, regardless of background or experience.

This series is from Nov 17 to Dec 29

For people with a special interest in learning to meditate, we have developed a special meditation program. The program is designed to help people improve and enjoy their meditation practice. As part of this program, we are offering four unique online urban meditation retreats. The retreats are approximately every six weeks (Aug 20, Oct 1, Nov 12, and Jan 7).

Check our online calendar for more information about our other Thursday series and the mini-retreats.

We are a non-profit organization. We have class fees to cover expenses such as rent for a commercial space. The payments for each class allow us to fulfill our mission. Still, we try to keep these fees to a minimum to allow everyone to participate and never turn anyone away if they cannot afford it.

Free parking is available in the lot behind the Center and on the surrounding neighborhood streets.
