Ride Of Remembrance

VFW 647 is hosting a trip to the D-DAY Memorial in Bedford, VA for our local veterans that are interested in going. Buses will depart the VFW POST on Nov 16th and travel to the Memorial where our veterans will receive a private tour of the D-DAY Memorial and be served a catered lunch. This event is free for our veterans, thanks to the support of some local businesses and donations. Deadline to sign-up is October 18, 2024 so that we can secure a count for passengers and lunch.
