Painting in the Garden Event

Halley Rise, Northern Virginia’s largest, most exciting new neighborhood, has a busy summer of outdoor gardening events and workshops for green-thumbed guests to enjoy at The Farm! From Growing in Small Spaces 101 to yoga to bouquet making, The Farm is the perfect place to enjoy the warmer weather and up your gardening game! With free special events all season, there's something for everyone this summer at Halley Rise!

This year, The Farm is continuing its support of Reston nonprofit Cornerstones from July through October, donating hundreds of pounds of fresh produce. Cornerstones is a nonprofit organization that promotes self-sufficiency by providing support and advocacy for those in need of food, shelter, affordable housing, childcare, and more.

The fun doesn’t stop there! In addition to The Farm summer events, Halley Rise is hosting Reston Community Center’s free Take a Break Concerts series in June, July and August! With lively music from all genres, there’s a concert for everyone to enjoy - be sure to bring a chair or a blanket! The concert series is presented by the Reston Community Center and the County of Fairfax, in cooperation with MSE Productions.
