Fauquier Community Theatre presents Scrooge! The Musical Dec 6 - 15, 2024

Fauquier Community Theatre presents "Scrooge! The Musical" as the holiday production for FCT's 47th Anniversary Season!

Actors and audiences are sure to love this musical based on the classic Charles Dickens tale of "A Christmas Carol." Book, Music, and Lyrics by Leslie Bricusse, the award-winning British composer, lyricist, and playwright.

In this timeless musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, miserly Ebenezer Scrooge undergoes a profound experience of redemption over the course of a Christmas Eve night, after being visited by the ghost of his former partner Jacob Marley and the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future.

The musical with a cast of 22, is directed by Jack Tessier and music director Anthony Smitha. Choreography is by Gabrielle Tessier. Enjoy this holiday classic on a grand scale set in London in the 1840's.

Michael J. Baker, Jr. as Ebenezer Scrooge has received multiple awards for his performances in musical comedy and dramatic theatre. He has worked in New York as an actor and voiceover artist and has sung at The Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap, and The White House. The role of Ebenezer Scrooge is one of Baker's favorites and he has performed in multiple productions of the holiday classic.

Nine performances of "Scrooge! The Musical" will take place between December 6 and December 15, 2024. Friday and Saturday evening performances are at 7:30 pm. Saturday and Sunday matinees are at 2 pm.

All performances take place at the Vint Hill Theater on the Green located at 4225 Aiken Drive, Warrenton, VA.
