This year's event will feature a conversation with Mohammed Bhabha and Roelf Meyer, celebrated peace activists from South Africa.
They negotiated the end of apartheid. What can we learn from them? From opposite sides of the political spectrum, Meyer and Bhabha helped negotiate the end of apartheid in South Africa and served in the South African Government under President Mandela. They have gone on to participate in peacebuilding efforts all over the world. They will join us to talk about overcoming polarization to uphold democracy.
The Ruckelshaus Chairman's Circle Celebration is an opportunity to come together to celebrate and advance Bill Ruckelshaus's legacy and vision of collaborative policymaking in Washington and to build community with each other. We've reimagined the luncheon as an evening event with more time and space for authentic engagement with each other.
We can't wait to see you in Bellevue. Event proceeds support the Center's work of helping parties with complex public policy challenges build collaborative capacity and develop collaborative, durable, and effective solutions. We will provide a great time, heavy hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and dessert. Free parking is also available.
