Racine Geological Society's Holiday Gem and Mineral Show

The top dealers of the Midwest will be at Fountain Banquet Hall 8505 Durand Ave (Hwy 11) on Nov 2nd - 10am to 5pm and Nov 3rd - 10am to 4pm. Many excellent specimens of minerals, rocks, fossils, gems and jewelry will be available for sale. Free rock and mineral identifications will be offered to the public. There will be demonstrations on wire wrapping. One of our club members will be displaying Racine Lakeshore treasures with over 50 different type samples that can be found on our beaches. Find out about the fluorescent sodalite specimens that are being collected at our beaches, it is the new craze among rockhounds around the Great Lakes. Admission is free. Donations are appreciated and will be applied to educational programs provided by the club. This is our annual pre-Christmas show, come and find some fantastic deals.
