This home tour will emphasize the history of the Muddy Creek Valley and provide fun & learning for the whole family. Venture out into the Blue Sulphur Springs area to learn the exciting history of some of the area's most interesting homes and landmarks. Stops on the tour include: the Blue Sulphur Springs Pavilion, Arbuckle's Fort Preserve, the circa 1795 home of James Jarrett (Fairhill), the circa 1860 home of Dr. and Mrs. Thomas G. Clay (the Homeplace), and a display by the Tahoe Antique Tractor Club. Kicking the weekend off is an evening reception at the 1834 Law Library in Lewisburg before the festivities and tour begin the next day!
